If you want to get to know me then you need to get to know my four wild monsters…… I mean boys. Yes you heard that right I have all boys. Lets just say they keep me on my toes. I’m sure you will come across a million pictures of them here and on my blog. My obsession with capturing each moment in life is why I do what I do. I know these years where they are little will go so fast and be just fleeting memories. Pictures will be all I have to remember them when they were so little. I have found that owning a business has taken away so much of my time from my family and it makes my heart hurt. So I am now limiting my sessions to just two a month. I got tired of always taking pictures and having an endless amount of images to edit. Because of that I stopped taking picture of my own family. I am changing all that!!!!!

I am a mom, a wife, a creative soul, a crafter, a photographer, soon to be nurse, but I am also just plain old me…

I love old movies. The really old sappy ones from the 40s and 50s. If it happens to be a musical even better! Singing in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Roman Holiday, American in Paris, An Affair to Remember I could go on and on.

I am obsessed with the Elf on the Shelf. Even 7 years later I still LOVE when he comes to visit. It brings my crafty creative self, Christmas magic, and my love of photography all rolled into one crazy adventure. Make sure to check out my blog posts about Jack here.

I wear pajama pants and a hoodie 9 months out of the year 6 1/2 days a week. I give them a 3 hour break while I go to church on Sundays. Every now and then I will dress up and wear yoga pants instead. I am trying to change that now that I go to school. It kind of feels nice to get out of my slump.

In my former life, BC (Before Children), I was very adventurous. Hiking, camping, paragliding, parasailing, skydiving, scaling waterfalls, traveling all over Europe, living in Hawaii, snorkeling, body boarding, and cliff jumping were my weekend activities. Now my weekends are filled with washing cars, trips to Costco, and a long list of chores to get done that I didn’t get to during the week. It also contains random hugs from my 5 year old just because, my magical kisses that heal any kind of booboo, uncontrollable giggles from my 3 year old, the sounds of little boys playing in the back yard. And I love every minute of it!
